I'm not sure if I'd describe active tech-heresy and subversion of the Adaptus Mechanicus alongside having rescued and subsequently willingly abetted a Tau xeno scum the course of action least likely to get purged. Frankly, the only major taboo the party hasn't broken by now is sympathy for Chaos, and that could be just one failure in the Occurrence Border away.

Luckily, the Inquisition gets a lot of leeway with this sort of thing when their local cogboys are on the liberal end of the "disconcerting metal tinkerer" scale, like the interrogator who stayed behind on the xenotech-purchasing world and his sword that occasionally whispers about blood.

What I want to know is how Oak has been rogue all this time yet liaisoned the Emperor's Scythes. Either they didn't know or didn't care, but the latter brings up some interesting and heretical implications.

Yeah - him going rogue must be a very new thing, seeing as he worked with other, very senior inquisitors and the Ordo Judis didnt flip their balls off when they not-quite arrested the OB

I am not currently. We finished the AGP campaign a few months ago, and won't be starting another till late spring or summer.

Yeah, the lets mix two 40k things together to make something EVEN WORSE has gotten to be a thing, the DM calmed down with it after this though.

It's a very confused situation aint it? In retrospect we should've gotten REALLY nervous when the DM cut off our communications.

I feel like they'll be taken into custody, it'll be this whole thing, but then just as things start to look bleak the stasis field (which the popo failed to notice was being held together with duck tape, spit and constant maintenance) will fail, the deamonnid will escape and wreak some havoc and allow our intrepid heroes to escape.
