I feel like we should just skip to A, it's the most likely outcome.

Although I am curious: everyone (except Eirika, who may not have seen it in person) reacts to Houlandin's missing eye as if it were a grotesque disfigurement. Is Saenn's lost eye somehow not so bad, or is Lerna just that desperate for something?

I'm also curious: Saenn refused a marriage to a "heathen" southern lady, yet as Eldrican nobility Lerna was almost certainly raised Damedian too. Was he putting up a front so he wouldn't have to give her up? Has this been going on for a while, was it the reason Iwald nearly killed him?
