Also I'm saddened that we didn't decide to protect the Gubtas from now on. If they actually do end up getting destroyed someday after what seems like centuries of history with us it'd be pretty sad. Well that and the fact that I really really don't like the Damdamians spreading their influence and religion anywhere. I'm still waiting for them to turn on us eventually. Never trust those Damdamian bastards!

Also I think I remember one time when we almost had the chance to trade the Lizard Riders for some of theirs mounts which makes me sad we didn't take the chance to get some of our own. The Damdamians just aligned with our kin in Elrican, who between our choice to wear the red dress and relieve them from their debt are likely on good terms with us. I wouldn't put anything past those dogs, but I'm fairly confident we are safe so long as Ruberta is Empress. Unless our own family chooses to betray us, the Damdamians wouldn't want to risk pissing off their new ally.

I thought the Damdamians were now a weaker alliance of states rather then a unified empire.  Still dangerous if we rile them all up but more interested in separate desires.
