Living Faith Off, resort to stabbing the Brute (or the priority of giving it a negative to dice to any of its actions instead of attacking instead)

And do a Prayer after if it is dead, or it dies before I do.
Also do inspect the area around us if we're in a safe location--alongside the nearest passages

Turn 48



[3] Vivian ran towards noises of battle and quickly caught up with others!

[4] Snowstorm hit on the brute harder, giving it light frostbite.

[Aaron: 2 +2, Thorn-vines: 2] After numerous struggles, the vines finally gave up and painfully removed themselves from the brute!

[Aaron: 5 +2, Undead brute: 6] Seeing that it still wasn't enough, shadow dragon started breathing fire at the undead. Dark fires engulfed the zombie, but it was greatly healed by darkness in his fire breath!

[Aaron: 1 +2, Undead brute: 4] Then shadow dragon tried to kill the undead by twisting greatsword in it's wound, but that didn't hurt it.

[Dennis: 6, Undead brute: 1] End of the line, friend. - Duke masterfully taunted the brute. For some reason, his words hit the undead so hard that it decided to let him end it's un-life!

[Serrana: 4, Undead brute: 2 -1] As inquisitor charged with several stabs, it didn't resisted or tried to free itself any more. It's rotting mind was overwhelmed by a thought of sweet oblivion and ending this accursed existence of undead.

[2] Serrana inspected the area after stepping back from undead. The passages certainly weren't safe, at any moment more monstrosities could come to attack them.



[6] Reynald quickly climbed up again and got to the surface, then looked around trying to see Lyirah.

[6] He was in the middle of some plain, a big settlement far away on the horizon. He was surrounded by countless undead - there were so many different types of zombies in one place that several well trained inquisitors wouldn't be able to defeat them all.

[2] It seemed that some of them spotted him, but they're moving quite slowly. As if some other, greater force drawn them towards the settlement.



Demonologist casually approached the gargoyles and said: Hello, I am Pguhyuh and this demon next to me is Fzbxr. Im looking for a sorcerer with a red cloak, chain armor and helm, uses some sort of fire magic. Have you seen him? He was looking for a demigoddess and took me here with his magic. This is the Unavented Cathedral, right? Can I have some sort of explanation about what exactly is this place? I need some answers about what is going on and why.

[5] Head on in. - the gargoyle replied, opening the gates. Lord Cilber should be in inner sanctum, you'll most probably find Jeramesh the Sorcerer with him. - the gargoyle pointed the way to the cathedral interior.



[1] Alexander with sightless man went looking for group of undead to kill, but the group found them first! A squad of six undead knights, clad in full steel equipment! Each with different weapon - longsword, mace, morning star, war hammer, great maul and spear.



Seriously? - Lysander muttered irritated.

[5] With Naablvat and Stumpy they returned towards the entry, where horned demon could smell some phantasm! Following it the three got to caverns under Height Keep and then to underground passages. Not that far away, Lysander could see a flame gate.

[6] Naablvat confirmed that demon entered this portal. It seemed that it was getting unstable by now, and one should be very quick entering it before it disappears or traps someone in Underworld.

 Undead knight (mace): [80/80]

Avoid the ones that know I am here, and try to locate whatever it is they are moving to. I have little doubt that it is another undead commander, or possibly a powerful spirit or necromancer.

(Shouldn't Smoke Hunter be a level 4 demon, not 3? Smoke had to reach level 4 before transforming, and the horned demon (A level 4) was one of the options to evolve into.)

Dark one, you called serrana an Inquisitor instead of an exorcist. You also forgot to apply penalties and bonuses
Edit: I am fairly sure that smoke hunter is level 3. He started a smoke imp, became a smoke phantasm and then turned into a smoke hunter.

Edit: I am fairly sure that smoke hunter is level 3. He started a smoke imp, became a smoke phantasm and then turned into a smoke hunter.

Guess that I made a mistake ways back when I wrote it in enemy types. Smoke imp should be level 2 and hunter level 4.

It goes like: impling (lvl 1)->imp(lvl 1)->specialised imps(lvl 2)->lvl 3 demons

Double checked, and you're right... Now I'm sure that I really need that break if I mix up and mistake classes... I forgot only about Serrana's bonuses and penalties. I usually leave overshots unchanged by penalties or bonuses, so Dennis' rolls are unchanged.

You could grind up Faith, but knowing me, I'll most likely forget about all bonuses and call you a peasant or demonologist....
