Glass is, as usual, correct.
Yep, as ever, I bestow upon Glass the expected +1
I'm gonna say we go with whatever Glass's idea is.

Can we at least ask questions that can help us figure out if he knows?

No. Because I can tell you right now that he doesn't. A fourth-wall breaking evil minion is one thing, but in serious pieces protagonists rarely break the fourth wall.

Actually, no. If you want to command Erin Quill to share his fourth wall insights with Calvin, then you may do so. Seeing as plot knowledge is kinda powerful, though...

Do you really want that?

No. I more wanted to figure out how much he knew. As you have confirmed that amount is 0, the question is answered.

GM interrogations are fun, aren't they? :P

Did anything I say make you think that he knew something? Cause that was NOT the intention.

Calvin: WHY THE HIGH FLYING HELL DOES THAT MATTER?!?!?!

In the meantime Quill's pulled out the next brainwashing compound.

"This next one will inverse the subject's opinion on events in their short term memory. Once it is injected, you may call to his attention certain events in the past. His opinion or emotion about these events will totally change."

What do you convince him of?

Convince him that he never willingly worked with sam. He was clearly coerced somehow.
alsoAlso It matters because we should give him a treat for iving us u all this nice information even though it wasnt willingly, that way there is no way he can call us 'monstrous' or whatever, seeds of doubt are importnt, and icecream seems like a good starting point.

So, should we convince him that his favorite flavor of ice cream is a deathly-important subject? :P
But yeah, convince him that he must have been forced into the Resistance, and that he was regretting being involved with it and would like to go straight.

True, true! That will be done.

Also, you'll have to call up a particular event and then the feeling is reversed. You can't specify what it'll reverse to. I know what you mean, but just be careful.

Before brainwashing him, ANOTHER QUESTION

"Do you know of a rebel that wasn't in the mansion?"
"who? What do you know about him/her?"

How much time is exactly "short term"? I saw a GM put 1 year as a short term memory :v

Make he more offended by bad things other rebels said to him.

Make he more happy for things that he thinks the republic did right

Make he fell worse for things that he did not liked to do in the rebellion

Make the girl, less hot

Make him remember when he told that the old man had "the heart on the right place" make him fell doubt when he told that, as if he is not sure.

Make he fell better for not giving 100% of him to the rebellion where he thought that he could do better

And every bad memory about republic, make the emotions less strong, if he is angry just downgrade it to annoyed, if some law that we passed made he almost cry just change it to "I was sad but whatever"

In time he will not understand why he entered the rebellion if things wasn't THAT bad and will be full of regret, only if he could fix things...

Omada, it reverses the emotion, not manipulates it. If we used it on him for something he thinks we did right, he'll think we're even more terrible; if we use it on occasions where the rebels upset him, it'll make him love them more. We have to be careful with what we're doing here.

Oh, damn. Thanks for pointing it out.

So, just invert the order of things

Reverse things that he thinks that the government did absolutely wrong

Reverse nice things the rebels said, (specially that sometimes nice words can be interpreted as mockery "WHY I WAS MAD? OH, they must be making fun of me)

Reverse his felling when he said that "he has the heart in the right place"

Reverse his attraction to Anna

Reverse his guilty in the moments that he didn't gave 100% of him for the rebels
