Do you sometimes confuse users with each other?

I tend to confuse Parsely and Cinder (similar avatars) and Maximum Spin and MaximumZero (similar names).

I do sometimes get confused when people say "Max" and aren't talking to me. Luckily there aren't any other "Spin"s, I don't think.

For me it's avatar-pairs because that's how I recognise people, although I was mildly surprised when told that there are actually separate people named "nenjin" and "nerjin".

I learned recently that there is an "Andres" in addition to Andrea. Also, I have to read real close to differentiate between Starver and Striver. Tha names, they look similar.

Yes, though seldom actually by name. More accoediv to type of name, post style anv content, context, etc.

Though technically it's impossible to confuse users with one another, because we're all actually Pathos.

It's usually similar avatars for me. I usually determine who's posting by avatar, out of the side of my eye, so if the colors and shapes are similar I can get confused. I rarely look at names.

MSH and MZ I've confused, like presumably most people.

I've also had one weird case where I kept confusing two people even though they have very different names and avatars, because their style of writing is similar, but that's only happened to me in this one case afaik.

I browse with avatars and signatures disabled, but rarely have this issue. I read much more here than I post, and could probably identify most people by their writing style.
