I've had the blind spot thing happen a couple of times. Really annoying because I was reading both times.

That's... weird. I thought that was how it was done? I do the same, and the updated numbers have been what I've been charged, in my experience. I'll have to make sure to check next time.
I thought you couldn't tip with a card so I always feel bad that I never have cash on me to leave tips...

Went to a nice restaurant last night. Server was great, so I left what I thought was a sizable tip on my receipt.

See, I pay with plastic at all times. They take my card, scan it, and bring it back to me with a receipt that allows me to write in a tip and the new total. I scribble some numbers, take my card, and leave, with the assumption that they'll run the new numbers.

What actually happens is that those new numbers never get charged to my card. Makes me feel like crap as I do it all the time, with the net effect of me appearing to be a cheapass by not leaving a tip.

This shit was never explained to me. Am I doing it right?
It sometimes takes a day or two to post, but if you tip on a card, your payment gets re-processed with the new total. All should be well.

I've spend far too long not sleeping and I know that as soon as I go to sleep and wake up I'll feel like shit, but on the other hand the more I put it off the worse it will be.
I hate everyone else's schedule.

What the hell?! The power steering on my car has gone out. Just doing simple driving around now requires exhausting physical labor on the steering wheel.

I took the time to fill it up with power steering fluid, but it didn't make a difference, and I'm really concerned with what the hell is wrong.

Check the belt on the steering column. My dad has fixed a couple dozen power steering assemblies by just slipping the belt back on.

Do some burnouts in a local carpark and become super-fit.

I'm now imagining someone with arms a meter across driving in circles.

sounds like my father back in the day, he used to do burnouts in our old XF that the power-steering died every now and then on. Yes, an XF. a huge, heavy S6 engine doing burnouts. I don't know how he did it. This was when I was very young.

On the plus side, now that you've become aware of it you can use this new knowledge to inform your thoughts going forward. It's one of those moments that you'll be glad you had down the road.

I view it as more satirical than serious.
