That's pretty sad. And can't be upgraded? RAM is fairly cheap, anyway.

RAM is cheap, but I am cheaper.

Oh, if I had anything to do with it, everything else would be in flames.  It also wouldn't be random.  It'd be completely under my control, and it would doom anyone else who tried to harness it.

I like this guy.

Now we know what we have to do for Battlefailed III. Or Failcannon II xD

Flaming dorfs and blood fortresses? I am in.

We might as well add exploding dorfs/pets while we're at it.

Blood, bone and vomit fortresses. Weren't I busy placing every corpse in their place I'd build a big bone monument. Also, why is there a "HUNK' (or "HONK") channeled and filled with water in the terrain in front of the fort?

What would even be the name of Battlefailed 3? Battlecannon? Failfailed? Cannonfailed? Failedcannon? DwarfFortress?

Hellcannon, obviously. Named for its megaproject/epic weapon that pumps magma from the magma sea and fires it on unsuspecting goblins, migrants, and cats.

I think it needs "fail" in it somewhere. "Hellcannon the Failure" perhaps? It'll probably be accurate.

Why not merge the two names and get CannonFailed?

Then the Failcannon dwarves would be the new most feared beings of Aluonra

I already have nightmares about several of them.

Edit Aaand.... now I will have nightmares about this.  Thanks Eric.

... keeping it just barely alive, like a young woman in my sexy torture dungeon.

Who, of those that have played after your turn, you included, don't?

Well, we are achieving nightmare fuel in RL. That's good.

I vote "Battle-Fail-Cannon 1.5"

And I could get behind the dwarf-castes idea I guess...  Maybe each player adds a new one at the end of their turn, not announcing what it is exactly (nothing too complicated so we know it doesnt, y'know, totally break the game) and we excuse the bizarre migrants trickling in as the poor hapless results of Demon Queen Leds horrific sorcerous experiments?

If we get enough people to agree with this, I may start this this very turn

I have mixed feelings, though probably more for than against.  I definitely feel something like this calls for an official poll before moving ahead with it though.

Also, regarding the turn list and recent requests - I notice it hasn't been updated in a while, and just wanted to make sure the request I made a while back isn't lost.

I just noticed something. There were TWO (at least) Andreus XI some time in the fort. One is buried, the other is a ghost.

said ghost is classified as a "sadistic ghost"

EDIT: I'm also leaving a trap for whomever comes next.
