Wow, it's Tremors six. I've seen the original movie Tremors but had no idea it has 5 direct-to-video sequels.

Although don't forget that there's an IMDB bottom 100 page, if you want truly bad fims to compare. I recommend Hobgoblins or Baby Geniuses 2 as exemplar films to check out.

However I just noticed that the director of Tremors 6, Don Michael Paul, also has a film that made it into the bottom 100, called "Who's Your Caddy?", coming in at the 31st worst movie ever made. Considering the vast number of movies made, getting a bottom-100 rated film is in fact a rare distinction: the crappiest you can be without the movie actually being canceled.

I kind of expected way more b-movies (or budget movies) from the 1960's and 1970's to be on there, a lot of the most worst are actually newer, like in the last two decades.

The current worst is a terrible Turkish government propoganda film (the 2013 corruption scandal from the point of view of the Erdogan government. Not even trying to disguise the propoganda), and then theres this thing called disaster movie which seems to have been a poorly made spoof on the whole 'MAYAN CALENDAR SAYS WORLD ENDS ON AUGUST 29TH 2008!' thing.

Digital production has vastly reduced the cost to get films released. The barrier to entry is lower now.

Also, notice that the second-worst movie, Saving Christmas sounds like it would be a generic Christmas comedy, ala the movie Surviving Christmas. However:

It stars Kirk Cameron as a fictional version of himself. In Saving Christmas, Cameron, after explaining his views on Christmas directly to the audience, tries to convince his fictional brother-in-law, played by the film's director, that Christmas is still a Christian holiday. The film combines a comedic narrative with educational elements, in order to "put Christ back in Christmas"

Note how many red flags are here. Kirk Cameron directly addressing the audience about how Atheists stole christmas, and the rest of the film basically being him lecturing a strawman atheist, in the form of the director of the movie, about how we need to put the Christ back in Christmas.

Good ol' Manos: The Hands of Fate, or in English, Hands: The Hands of Fate, still maintains a position in the top five despite being more then fifty years old. Very impressive considering the great effort some people put into being as bad as they can be and getting away with it.

That reminds me, I've meant to get hold of Manos for ages. Because often when new bad films come up, someone often pops up and says "don't forget Manos!" so it must be really bad.

Well, honestly bad films have a major advantage over intentional schlock: the people behind them don't feel a need to tell the audience they're in on the joke too.

I had an uncle find a few Playboys I'd stashed in my room once.  that was a thing. remember when cell phones and internet porn wasn't a thing?

Literally no.
Indeed, the only reason one would read it nowadays is for the articles.

I decided to visit that insane idea of "Really old Netware server in Dosbox-x" today.

Hilariously enough, it seems that the thing might actually run inside dosbox-x.

There's a bit of a hiccup with it detecting the CD on second-stage install though. I am gonna help it along with qemu to get past initial setup (after which it does not need the CDrom), and see if it will work. If so, "LOLOLOL" all around.

Dosbox is hilarious. You can use it to install and emulate anything on the DOS kernel, including Windows 95.

Can you run another instance of DosBox on the Win95 you install?

The thing is that Netware loads its own kernel into memory and takes over. It has its own mini OS and everything. So, saying dosbox-x can run it, is pretty impressive.

Earlier, I had just woken from a nap and went to pee. In the process some splash damage occurred due to me still being half-asleep, and I quickly went to grab some toilet paper to wipe it up.
Unfortunately, whoever finished off the previous roll of TP had not seen fit to place the new one properly on the holder, instead opting to just balance it precariously on top. I tugged at the paper, unintentionally pulling the whole roll from its place, and watched in groggy, seemingly slow-motion horror (I think my sleepy brain was frantically firing off signals and trying to pump out enough adrenaline to get my reflexes working, but to no avail) as it bounced off the rim of the bowl before landing irrecoverably in the freshly-cooked pee soup I had just served up.
Gingerly taking hold of the non-submerged parts, I eventually managed to retrieve the cardboard tube and tear the surrounding paper into a few chunks, flushing them down separately so as not to clog the toilet.

What a horrifying moment. It could have been worse, though - I could have been busting to take a dump when that happened, for one thing. Pretty sure that was the last toilet roll, too (I have since replaced them). Always look on the bright side, I guess?

Also, just a little while ago I managed to forget I was wearing headphones and knock over a fresh, almost-full cup of tea right in front of my laptop. Luckily - very luckily - there were no books on my desk or in the immediate path of the deluge. A couple got a little wet, including one very precious old book that I would have hated to see damaged, but both only had their covers splashed and I was able to quickly wipe them dry. Phew.

I don't know what the heck is wrong with me today. Maybe it's the sporadic sleep I've been having lately due to illness?
Planning on going to sleep at a normal time tonight and trying to get my sleep schedule back on track now that I'm feeling better.

Started watching the movie Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell, or whatever it’s called. Oh my is it bad. Stopped watching after half an hour.
Wimp. The worst movie I ever saw almost killed me, but I still finished watching it.
Also, judging by the description those films sound pretty dope, haha.

Dear Pandora,

I do not want to listen to Nightcore hence all the downvotes. It is, for lack of a better description, good songs stolen and autotuned to sound like shit by immature, tasteless idiots. Stop playing fucking Nightcore.

If Nightcore did not exist, it would be worth inventing just for the effect it has on audiophiles.
