You look at your levels for everything.
You're pretty tired and hungry from your busy day.
Most of all, you need to get more Psiotonin to wreak your terrible vengeance.

Man, it would be really convenient if you could siphon Psi off these goons.
But that would require some sort of horrible brain straw.
And you don't have a brain straw right now.

Anyway, you tell your captive to lead you to the med bay where there might be
leftover Psiotonin injections or maybe one of those brain straws that you might have just made up.

The Sectoid guard leads you to a large locked door.
Next to it, a panel consisting of three buttons and a circular lens.

He says that behind this door it's two rights and a three level lift to the med bay.
Also that you should let him go right now for being such a good sport.

Those meters were the hardest part, coming u with graphical representations of abstractions like "Gumption" and "responsibility" weren't easy.

I think the metroidvania map is working again, It was weird that it shut off, but I would have just re-hosted it if it had failed.

You're going to have to explain what each of the meters are for. Each and every one of them.

Take the guard with you. He's not going anywhere. Doesn't he... Like... you? Sure he does. Just ask him.

alpha is mostly female, I though all this hostility is male stuff.
also stat key is needed to decipher it all.

Take the guard with you, so you'll have a shield in case you run into any more guards. Also you won't get anywhere without any allies, this guard will be your comrade and he will be pleased with it (because you'll gut him like a trout should he say otherwise).

YES!  Robocorn, I knew you wouldn't let us down.

...

You're going to have to explain what each of the meters are for. Each and every one of them.

No.  Robocorn is very specifically not going to do that.

. . .

Okay, I have to give it a try.

Left column:
Health
[Something]
Finesse
Perspicacity
Gumption
[Probably biological meters]

Right column:
[Dude, what?  I'm guessing that somewhere in here are Aegis, Agility, and Leverage, plus Balance and Skateboarding  The third one looks like Skateboarding to me.]
[ . . . Since when is Skateboarding one of Alpha Rauthaz's highest stats?]
Psy
Norepinephrine
Dopamine

Vestigial gender identification meters:
Feminine
Masculine
Aspartame

YOU'RE WELCOME now what did I miss.

alpha is mostly female, I though all this hostility is male stuff.

Yes, but you're clearly unaware of Alpha Rauthaz's game-mechanic-warping past.  Masculine was down to zero after that.  I'm wondering where the heck she got those Aspartame bonuses.  Hmm.  Before continuing with the suggestions from other folks, try resynthesizing Aspartame into Psy.  You know, like some games will let you do when you're horribly down on a resource.  Even a painful 1/10 ratio would be good, if it worked.

. . . Okay, wow, this took a lot of open windows.

Nah you need that for psi pimp slapping strength.
She pick up some masculinity from mimicking a male sectoid guard.
I don't get why can't she just bite a dead sectoid or the one she has a hold of and suck the psi out of them?
feed your bloodlust Alpha FEED IT
! through I guess the lack of teeth means really awkward Hickies.

Spoiler: my interpretation (click to show/hide)

try resynthesizing Aspartame into Psy.

Also:
Take the guard with you. He's not going anywhere. Doesn't he... Like... you? Sure he does. Just ask him.

Once you get to the med bay, you can always use some surgical tubing to tie him up, and/or stuff him in a storage locker.

Get him to open the door, and use him as a human shield for anything hostile that might come out.

I wouldn't trust this guard, especially since we're holding him here against his will, and he's asking to leave because he's been cooperative.... I'm thinking that guard goes nowhere without us until we get our hands on some Psitonin. In which case, it'll probably be a one-way road to the pearly gates for him.

And before we go through the door, we have to get it open. Making the guard do it would probably be a ton easier and more discrete to whatever may be on the other side than just ripping it out ourselves.

What do you mean nameless guard?
Whose name you certainly could ask but instead choose not to.
Doesn't he like you?
You guess if he doesn't like you he can help you get through the door another way.
Maybe he could help you that way.
Nameless guard.

The guard eventually comes to his senses and opens the door
he uses some little barcode on the bottom of his shoulder pad thing.
That must be what those stupid things are used for.
They certainly aren't offering much protection.

Skills don't get their own bars there are too many skills. Speechwriting, skateboarding, tapdancing, and songsmithing are all excempt from the rainbow of bars.

Damn, I'm late for today's update. unless you're further below GMT than me.

Don't hurt him anymore. You'll tenderize his flesh and he'll make for a marginally less effective shield. And check his aegis bar, as well as his health. Look into means of raising his aegis score (if it isn't already maxed), perhaps you can find something to improve his aegis while gathering Psiotonin (or whatever it was called)... Aegisotonin, if that's a thing.
