What's this question supposed to mean: "Elections organised by the state cannot question the powers in place"?

One of the poorly-worded questions I mentioned. I believe that it's saying that state-held elections will not and cannot empower people who openly distrust the government or who will bring about real change.

All these communists.  Whatever you call this here is the real best -ism. The flag is complete garbage, but then again so are almost all the rest of them. From the looks of it my white spaces are also a lot bigger than most other people's, clearly I need to do less bet-hedging. It's quite different from most everyone else's too, the only thing I seem to agree with most Bay12ers on is that the environment and regulations on industry in general are important.

Constructivism 5%/38%/57% Essentialism
Makes sense. I'm not a biological determinist, which it seems to be pidgeonholing Essentialism into, but I believe that nurture alone paints an incomplete picture. I tried to reflect this by answering the questions 'by what they really mean' but it looks like I overcorrected slightly in one direction. I'd probably put it at 10/30/60 if I was to just give a value for this one.

Rehabilitative Justice 33%/33%/34% Punitive Justice
Again, makes sense, I believe that punishment (and therefore deterrance) and rehabilitation must be the twin goals of a justice system, though I'm somewhat amazed that I managed to get the most equal distribution possible for this question. My centrism is unmatched.

Progressivism 0%/40%/60% Conservative
Less conservative than I expected to be honest, but also far less progressive. Not sure what to think of this one tbh. I'm somehow less progressive (but also far less conservative) than the guy who was trying to be Literally Hitler.

Internationalism 5%/43%52% Nationalist
A government's first duty is and always should be to its own citizens. Cutting off your neighbor's water for leverage or invading them for lebensraum is right out, and international agreements and dialog to prevent that sort of thing are important, but I believe that a balance of power and the United Nations (in its current form) is the way to go about things rather than more direct political integration between states.

Communism 29%/31%40% Capitalist
Seems about right. Some things like utilities, healthcare, certain strategic industries, and (perhaps most controversially) banks should probably be, if not nationalized outright then at least under such heavy state control that they might as well be. Outside of those things market control is ideal.

Regulationism 60%/28%/12% Laissez-Faire
Companies can't be trusted to act in a responsible manner outside of their most immediate concern of profit. Government regulation is necessary to ensure that the optimization machines that corporations are at the end of the day have the right set of inputs and ensure healthy competition.

Ecology 38%/41%21% Productivism
I'm surprised Ecology isn't higher. I believe that strong measures to combat climate change and pollution are imperatives of the most fundamental kind, and that environmental concerns should weigh very heavily against economic gain. Maybe my choosing 'somewhat' instead of 'absolutely' more frequently toward the end of the test is to blame for this.

Revolution 36%/38%26% Reformism
Not too surprising. I think revolution (though not necessarily violently, striking and disruption are valid practices) is necessary to effect major change most of the time. I just don't think major changes happening in the first place is necessarily a good thing, and major changes happening frequently is probably bad even if the changes being made would be good on their own.

It also gave me the "Missionary" characteristic because I said that I like my religion best. A tautology IMO, since if I ever start to seriously think my religion isn't the right one it's time to start thinking about conversion. I think an official religion is a bad thing, and the state shouldn't take it upon themselves to enforce or promote any religious faith. But I also think that the government of a religious people will have religious influence on its laws if it truly is representative, and that it would be a blatant double standard to restrict proselytism while allowing secular ideologies to promote themselves freely.

Wow, some of these questions are borderline stupid. Stupid in the 'this statement comes from only one certain specific locality' rather than what the test tries to make itself. But then again it's an online test so its credibility is down the drain and those question aren't done well.
