We wondered what Urist would choose
If magma had contained some booze
But what if the wine,
Like water, just fine,
Could flow from the floodgates and tubes?

Urist is terrified by the idea that his life is not his own. After a long time of contemplation, he decides to make it known, in any way he can, that he is a thinking, feeling Urist: hoping against hope that whatever force rules his life realizes what misery it is inflicting. He tells his coworkers, and they agree to do the same. Unfortunately, their hints are too subtle, and their pleas go unheard.
