Anyways, to elaborate on it. It's a purely digital piece. I've been watching some tutorials on how to use colour and strokes with more confidence and I've tried to emulate that in this one. Mainly by using almost 100% opacity, layering everything and using big swooshy strokes and shapes to give it all a feeling of motion. Also painting negatively (that is, subtracting from shapes rather than adding to them) is rather fun and leads to some interesting stuff.

Also it's Earth or something, the red was supposed to be flowers (like the yellow) but I guess it doesn't read that much. And yeah the guy is sitting on some sort of steam punkish construction and watching the clouds and jet trails.

Mainly inspired by my love of clouds tbh, clouds are fucking awesome and I really don't need much reason to want to paint them. And since just clouds wouln't be very interesting I decided to run with the theme of a guy or guys watching them in every piece ^^

That little shitty hand alone took like a half hour of staring at my hand with one eye closed without moving. The people in my math class must think I'm bizarre.

The hand is slightly off, but not that much.

I personally think it's the best part of the image.

The most glaring thing that I noticed about your hand was that the pinky isn't attached to the right edge of the hand. Also, the right edge could use a little outward curve to it, because hands have a little shape like that, and tapering towards the base of the palm distinguishes the wrist better. Otherwise that's fairly solid construction wise.

I can draw okay-ish hands now, after spending something like eight hours doing little but sketch my left hand in various poses. I also find drawing skeleton hands helps nail down proportion and joints.
