This one, especially, looks like an awesome professional illustration.  I've always loved that style of shading, but never got the hang of it, myself.

Alas, I believe the meme happens to be "Dost thou even hoist?"

Still, great knight picture, though I imagine weightlifting would be quite hard with all that armor on :P

Some sci-fi thumbnails. Mostly just retextures of some free modulars I found. The thing closest to being made from scratch is the nuclear reactor. I made it out of a vacuum cleaner.

Get coloring thing, smash over line drawing. Present to the magical people in this thread and ask where you went wrong. Repeat until results acceptable.

Your colouring isn't that bad, honestly. It gives a bit of a watercolour impression, though she's a bit on the yellow side, making her look a little ill. You might want to use some slightly more earthen skin tones (unless it was intentional, that is, in which case, please feel free to ignore my advice ^^).

For clean lines, you need to either learn to draw long, flowing lines in one go, or cheat (like I tend to do), zoom in, use a thicker brush, and just overlap millions of short lines until they look like a single unbroken line.
In either case, layers are your friend : keep your current lines, decrease the opacity of their layer, add another one on top, and try to refine them on the new layer. Rinse and repeat (or delete and repeat) until satisfied. Then you can just hide the scruffy-line-layer(s) and enjoy nice, clean lines :)
