I'm sure that's covered in geography here.

Not sure what your high school matches up to here, I took "Double Award Science" for GCSE (all three sciences, worth two GCSEs), but everyone did because there was no choice there. Then I took both Physics and Chemistry to A-Level.

Dwarven blood types are not A, B, AB, O but Ale, Wine, Beer, Rum, Whisky and so forth.
It's not an embark so much as seven dwarves having a simultaneous strange mood and going off to build an artifact fortress that menaces with spikes of awesome and hanging rings of death.

Physics isn't that involved in maths, at least not at the high school level.

I took physics and chemistry; there were no geosciences subjects available. I enjoyed the hell out of Chemistry (and still do at University), and Physics was interesting but unfortunately marred by my screwball teacher.

That depends, Blarg. Most Physics 101 classes only require trigonometry of pre-calculus, but my Physics II class required Calculus to get into and uses math all the time. That said, I think that you can't do much Earth Science or Biology without chemistry, and you can't do much Chemistry without Physics.

My ranking of importance:
Physics
Chemistry
Biology
Earth Science

The ones I like:
Physics
Earth Science
Chemistry
Biology

I took all the Physics, Chemistry and Biology I could, as well as some Geography. I enjoy them all, with a slight preference for Physics. Can't say how "involved" it is in Maths; I see the science subjects (combined with Mathematics) as an entirety, as they overlap and support eachother to the extent that it's a bit impractical to treat them as separate subjects.

Also, xkcd covered it pretty well.

Dwarf Fortress- where a sudden mist that causes you to bleed from every orifice and drop dead is one of the better outcomes.

I chose chemistry because it was what I'd had best experiences with, and because it is probably the broadest of the subjects. It's the easiest of the 4 to cross-learn, so if I wasn't really enjoying it with chemistry, I could always go over in organic and biochemistry, inorganic and physical chemistry or geology. You can make cross-subjects with most of the combinations, but chemistry is the subject with the most promising cross-subjects.

I feel the need to ask:

What the hell is Earth Science?

Stuff like volcanoes, convection currents.

In a sentence:
The boring stuff that no one ever enjoyed in science.
What?!?
That is the basics of all that is dwarfy!

In Poland there is Biology/Chemistry(in one), im not yet in high school but i would go for it if you want to become doctor, they are paid quite good, especially for jobs none wants to do, like anatomical pathologists which perform autopsies.

If you want to be a pathologist because of pathology's own merits, go for pathology. But don't go for it for the money. There are easier and better ways to earn it.
IMO: if all you want is a nice paycheck it's not worth it to go through medical school, let alone a PA residency.

OP: in my high school we had a lot of emphasis on the first three. As to which is better.... depends on what do you intend to do later. But it's high school, anyway, meaning that its not like deciding which to dump and which to keep will have irrevokable consequences for your laboral life.

Call Geology by its proper name. Bah, "earth science". Also it's not at all boring.
