You weren't here for Perplexicon, were you?
No. No I was not.
What was that, by the way?

No. No I was not.

What this game is based on, with differently-spelled and differently-organized words that have mostly the same meaning (though Toaster's revised them to a degree). The principle of this game is the same as that of the first phase of Perplexicon, the arena phase.

Derm is the only one from the original Perplexicon's players (scapheap as well, but scapheap stopped playing before the real escalation started) on the current player list, so things are bound to get interesting.

As for the whole PM'ing of turns and words, that is a thing you do in this game if you like to have toys of your own. Otherwise, as dear old Garth Garplacks of Garstorpit fame learned, things tend to even out eventually.

One of the more popular RtD games. Concluded recently and suddenly. The thread's still running pretty strong. If you can't find it for some reason, it's here.

Ninja'd by a more in-depth explanation.

PMing me turns is totally acceptable if you don't want everyone to know your tricks.

Aww, don't be too sad. You can still steal my spell for making very deadly spears.

If I can decipher which part means glass and which means spear I'll be happy only then.

Current analysis suggests spear is "Olitylari".

If someone summons an object, I don't have you automatically pick it up, since not all objects are necessarily something you want to pick up.  If your action is something like "Say words, pick up the result" then you will grab it (unless it's clearly dangerous, in which case you'll get an "are you sure?")

Neither the bone axe or the glass spear were picked up.

EDIT- On that note, I am following the original Piecewise rule where if someone summons something and it's ignored, it disappears after a few turns so I don't have to track every piece of random crap that gets created.
