At least you didn't figure out how to speak in a creepy Morgan freeman voice...

I can flip between a British accent and my normal weird accent, but it's difficult to stop either. It's a bit odd, since the British accent sounds as natural as my normal accent.

There's a lot of different kinds of british accents.

I am aware of that, which is why I didn't try to be specific. :P

Somewhere between posh and cockney?

I swear to God I've gotten so good at doing an impression of the Yorkshire stereotypical gangster/mafia-esque guy I accidentally switch into it when speaking.

Why would I not like synthesisers?

And I suppose I meant 40 years back

I don't like the music comming out today, the stuff that my dad showed me is great

To clearify I'm entirly fine with synthesizers.
Considering they are used by several of my favorite bands
Examples
http://youtu.be/Hp3JgWmQHcE :Depeche Mode- policy of truth
http://youtu.be/8KUiXtz10Ho :New Order- true faith
http://youtu.be/I1wg1DNHbNU :Talking Heafs- once in a lifetime (ok talking heads doesn't seem to use it nearly as much but still just making a point)

No it's modern country, modern pop, and even some modern alt rock that I can't stand

#LeWrongGeneration

Popular music has always been garbage.  90% of unopular music has also been garbage.  It's just nobody remembers the garbage because it was thrown away.

Meh
At least most of the music then wasn't nearly as garbagy as it is now

I think what he's trying to convey is that it was as garbagy as it is now, personal opinions notwithstanding, but nobody bothered to remember the garbage parts; we hold onto what we value, not our trash, and so when we look at our possessions, we find value in everything that remains.

Even the stuff my dad thought was garbagy back then wasn't that bad compared to how garbagy garbage is today

Ya.....
I'm seeing how pointless this going nevermind

Now and then had different cultures.

Lady gaga wouldn't have been anywhere near as popular.

Songs would have different words. Less raps, more lyrics, different tunes.

So, for people who like that style, it does seem better, and it does seem less repetitive- you hear one rap, you hear them all, and a lot of songs have them now. It's not a difference in quality, per se, just in times.

My opinion is that a lot of the time, the modern word for "song" doesn't match my definition. :P

I dislike that there doesn't seem to be any common way to refer to a piece of music with no vocals. It's not a song because no words. You can't use 'single' if it was released on an album, and using more than one word is cumbersome.
Fucking language.

"you hear one rap you hear them all"

umm that is subjective. I listen to quite a few very different sounding rap and hip hop artists.

I could say that about white music from the 60s. That shit all sounds exactly the same.
