Hmm. Make sure they're from a civilized civilization. I know there's some oddness with outsiders not being able to build things.
okay notice it's the stone axe and not the creature...  I guess the wooden training axe patch is interfering with the stone axe you craft.
a battleaxe or any of the other Axe weapons that aren't the training kind still work fine for woodcutting.

Yeah, just tried this out too with regular races. Stone axes don't work any more for anyone.

Yea if you want to adventure-craft in .03 you should change the "assemble stone axe"  adventurer-reaction to output a
[PRODUCT:100:1:WEAPON:ITEM_WEAPON_AXE_BATTLE:GET_MATERIAL_FROM_REAGENT:stone:NONE]
and not the brand-new tool axe.

On the zero-points embark, could one just hunt & herbalize until a migrant arrives with a suitable axe?

or a guest pops up then you steal that from them.
wonder if the whole natural skill works now in adventure mode or is it still if you play a character who race is good at climbing you don't get the benefits?

Everything fixed (unless by complete fluke) is announced on the bug tracker before the release. Natural Skill bug is still open and doesn't seem like something that'd be accidentally implemented.

I found a possible bug with the new workorders. If you make 2 workorders for the same thing every item produced counts for both workorders.

There's also no way to get stone on 0-point embark. There was a way to get wood, but that's also out of the game now, sadly.
a simple raw mod makes it possible again
