So personally took False_wing out to test stuff and take care of the some how growing bandit camps in the area. After murdering one camp(and trying to write in books at the same time) I got a quest to kill some bandit leader name Atthem Skullgirls.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
so I thought this got to be too good to past up and sent F_W over to the camp.
then saw this. Great axe wielding, Shield holding, White curly hair being covered by a cap and hold, Veteran woman standing on top of a hill. Yelling out this

Bandits and their massive egos, man.

Felt that she had a wicked cool name and teleported out of her camp. Currently False_wing just walk into his first necro tower. so far either his history or his nightcreature status cause one dwarven necromancer to be dumbstuck and wanted to join me... the local zombies not so much. So far I had to turn so many corpses into books to prevent them from turning.

edit: okay got out of there alive but the slab is too dang heavy, so I gave it to some random hare I found in the area.
Due to being even more far away than normal False_wing has to book it the entire way back to the fort though miles of mountain plains... with a male rabbit.

I have to say I never thought I be jumping around the map with this one character. Sure glad I did.

I love the idea of him lying on his back and lifting his knees up to his mouth to lick them, so lets go with that.

I sometimes let animals hit me before I kill them so I can sustain myself crossing the desert by drinking my own blood.

I sometimes let enemies hit me out of masochism. And maybe out of a little bit of pity for just how hopeless their situation is, that they would never stand a chance of defeating me.

So Q on dfhack irc found out that the sparring flag allow access to passive attacks, and setting both attackers means they won't kill each other also you can take wrestle items off people and every one else is totally fine with you doing that because your sparring.
went to town experimenting on my troops.
ahdo went up to a fellow pikewoman and sparred with her
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
the headbutt came from my confusion of no biting attacks on dalesman raws.
So after witnessing some awkward stormwizard pikewoman on pikewoman False_wing took off to find a vampire to recruit, end up finding an animal trainer name Shato who agreed to join him farther east to a town, F_W walk into the dungeon and found a lone kobold bowman. So I went and slap on sparring and made him a companion, once I got F_W to meet up with Shato the Kobold fired a shot right into her nose shattering it. Shato completely took that in stride for the kobold is "Sparring" though I didn't want another bow incident to happen so I sent F_W to lightly take the bow out of the kobold's hands and the three left back to the fort.

So with 2 new crew members one being the first kobold recruited I had both spar each other.
what happen was Shato over exerting her self to the point of passing out, and The Kobold lightly poking her with a dagger and this...
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
So at least now I can set up a harmless bogeyman wrestling matches that doesn't end up with the cackling ending and murdering every bogeyman in the area.

You headbutt the pikewoman in the head with your head lightly tapped the target!.
Q discovered that the spar flag is what allows you to do this, and to get it to work you need to change the adventurer's creature flags to set the sparring on.
so far you can wrestle items out of people hands or lightly punch them. or like the kobold give them a hookie. Oh another thing to note is that the sparring match will continue until one passes out from  over-exertion. So you could set up two human companions to spar with each other and watch them fight until one of them passes out.

Sparring flag in the creature raws? There is no such tag, and raws are species-wide. Everyone would be set to spar if that were even possible.
