You know what? I'd love to burst all your bubbles at once, just because it amuses me!

In DF, creatures can have the chance to dodge projectiles, which the leader did. One of the options they have to dodge into can be the next one the projectile enters. Which is what the leader chose. So, he jumped backwards to escape the rock, but only delayed the inevitable by one tick because he was still dodging into the way of the projectile. Technically, he could have dodged that too, I think.
So.. basically he tried to outrun the rock

More like hamstone but less authentic.

I don't know why you are looking at things this old, but I'm fiddling around with simple machines forums' system, so I edited a few things to check how it works.

Consider it and easter egg for snooping around people's post history... Artificially sent!

Okay it's been about too long since any one drawn something for this thread. this is how my current adventurer ended, with warmist discovery/creating a waypoint system that allows you to mark down sites at the fast travel so that if you want to back track you can warp to the waypoint, also (didn't test this) marks down where you died so you can warp to the last adventurer's corpse and loot the body proper burial. this sounds great but it's means nothing when playing the as the companion of my last adventurer who ended up ascending to necromancy and ditching him up against a pack of undead sparmates. so with a guy so sloow I thought it would have been better off getting men. so I warp to a castle SLOWLY walk over to the door and recruited about 20 people 6 of them crossbow/riflemen then warp back to the tower.... which then found out I'm still to slow to clean out the tower in a FUN way. which lead to a 180 warp back to retire the character.

also, can anyone refer me to any easy to get ahold of programs that are better then mspaint? it does really nasty things to image quality, and flipping and rotating bits of the picture would cause things to dissapear or seriously lose quality.

I know this is a super old post, but the issue is not Paint, it is JPEG compression. Don't ever save to jpeg anything you want to not be shit.

Currently playing as a Supermutant who saved a Supermutant Child from a Supermutant Thief and now both of us(the child not the Thief) going around doing odd jobs for some fort.
walk down into a cave to find some Night Creature and found her holding a Copper meat Cleaver being Hulking huge.

edit: This image shows Bogeyman hunter, a Druid Dwarf, a Spirit bear. The Druid Dwarf is Greeting the Bogeyman, the image is based on the item when Dwarf Spear lady druid Nemus Mellowgates Cross the Frozen Sea to bring a book to Bogeyman hunter False_wing.

well this finally wraps up any loose ends I had with this region.
