Tack on a flask of cursed flame and you're really going places.

EDIT:  Also, the whole "creatures spawned from statues no longer drop coins to Lucky Coin" thing isn't exactly true.  It's just that they no longer do it to traps.  Throw a baby slime/pygmy into the nest with them and they'll be plenty eager to give you their cold, hard cash.

Can't you just lay a line of platforms and swing a sword as you run underneath? Most mobs won't go through platforms from above.

Not quite as AFK-accessible.

Also, today I learned two things:  1) Baby slimes from the slime staff are affected by the tiki armor set and trinkets, in that you can get up to 6 of them bouncing after you at a time (and it's feckin' ADORABLE)

2) Baby slimes, when paired with the lucky coin, are capable of extorting over 7 gold coins from a single derpling.

Apparently if you're in hardmode all enemies have a (low) chance of dropping the summoning items for hardmode bosses you haven't defeated.

Is Hell not viable for housing?

I am making a mini base in hell on a small world. I brought some furniture from the dungeon, replaced the walls in a hellbrick apartment with stuff I made. Housing query says the house is suitable. I could move the guide into one of the rooms, but no other NPC is moving in on their own.

Should I build a small house on the surface and move NPCs into the hellhomes after they initially move in?

Anything that can teleport or phase through walls will rape your NPC's.

Ice golems are basically common bosses!

At least they aren't too hard to defeat with a little shelter.

With my setup they're just gluttons for punishment and boy howdy can they take it. You can stay completely safe.

But they stop spawning if I get three or more NPCs on screen? (except during blood moons et al.) I can deal with a imps/worms/whatever a time.
