Things that can't be done: Survive the Madness without cheating when its arrival drops your FPS to a max of 2.

... thank you, based cheat engine. And terraria itself, for making the current HP be a steady 4 byte address :V

Also, why in the name of zeus does so many freaking saucers show up!? I think I killed like goddamn eight or nine before the bloody thing finally ended. It was sincerely irritating ;_;

made a small cactus house for the dryad, this world only has one giant tree and is the type without secret room so had to think of another construction for her.

also, got two blood moons in a row and then a goblin invasion. died a lot and the NPCs too.

right now have a new nurse, new merchant and the dye trader... and i have got short in space already, got to cleanse the borders with the corruption so i could expand a bit my plots but the only way now is make the houses taller. which means cutting down more trees and preparing more rooms.

as for bosses. already broke a shadow orb. havent got a meteor but the goblin invasion came, the arms dealer only lasted one day and died during the siege.

killing the EoW will be complicated without proper equipment so i'll see what can i craft with the demonite ore i got from the EoC

Fucking madness.

1hp per frame debuffs that last for 10 seconds, saucers that spawn almost as soon as they leave, saucers that spam death rays every second or so when it gets angry, saucers that can't be murdered with a magnet sphere spectre combo, so on and so forth.

it's practically demanding a razorblade just to kill it

or maybe chlorophyte but i ain't no ranger nor do i have a gun that can reliably shoot chloroes.

leveled more terrain and cut more trees, used the newly leveled plain to plant more of them, got enough wood for expanding the houses of the guide, demolitionist and merchant. there's a room avaliable for the goblin tinkerer. but i have to find him first. or go for the stylist and expand the house of the dye trader.

either case, the town is expanding a little bit more.

as for equipment, the EoC gave me enough demonite for the demon bow and the light's bane. not ready for taking onto the EoW yet. first need to craft some accesories and reforge the whole equipment.

bought a stack of pumpkin seeds from the dryad, im using the spare grass plots for them, and have some pumpkin pie ready for use in the good storage.

Yeeaaah, I just froze my HP at 500, pointed the possessed axe up, and waited :V

Well, that, double tiki minions (at least until the bewitching table buff wore off), and the plantera expert item. Still basically forever :-\

Tried to hit it a bit with the sword the things drop, but the lag made that pretty much impossible, heh. I do believe someone had mentioned a bunker that did look like it might work -- not much appeared to be wall piercing (though it was hard to tell, because it was like watching a freaking stop motion film), so that might be fairly safe, I'unno.

Light's Bane is kinda a waste of demonite IMHO. I usually just make the War Axe of the Night; it has better knockback, deals nearly as much damage as the sword, doesn't require constant clicking to attack with, and can even save an inventory slot by functioning as both an axe and weapon.

The only reason for making a Light's Bane is to craft a far more powerful sword later, and just farming the EoC or the EoW provides more than enough demonite for that.

Get a weapon that can shoot through walls/drops projectiles from the top of the screen, then hide in a bunker the entire time. Best options at that point are the Blizzard Staff or Razorpine from Frost Moon. The only part of MM that can hit through terrain is the edge of the UFO missile AoEs (sometimes) and the rare occasions where the UFOs dive a few tiles into the ground.

mushroom shaped bunkers with yoyos/minions and you clinging to the roof works fine. the saucer has no attacks that clip through walls, unless you've had the unfortunate event where the saucer ended up inside your mushhouse.

fakedit: ive never had a frostmoon; gave up the game for a bit when they added the start of halloween event
