Good question. Yet, I've waited ages to create my own Shook, and now, that I've been provided the three necessary personality traits for my new garment (because as we all know, you can't make clothing without personality traits ), I can perform the tailoring ritual and unleash it upon this world...

I am pretty sure no one here knows what Sedmikráskov (Daizyvale) is, it was my favorite comic when I was a kid, a masterpiece created by the Svitalští brothers, it is about stories of a fairy tale village. It has a very distinct style (check it out!) and the comic is very lighthearted and comedic, plus it has the cool fantasy/european folk tale elements in it, very fun to read. I don't have any of the issues anymore, but still remember the stories many years after.

From left to right - Děda (Gramps), Fuks the shopkeeper, Dyk and Vosák (main characters), Samuel the Sorcerer, Witch Magula and her spirit servant Hercules.

A WIP low-poly tank model! I got the idea to riff on a unity doom clone and wanted to do a 3D-world-with-pixel art thing (sans creatures and pickups--which are billboarded sprites), so this is my first step to understand the 3D-pixel-textured-asset pipeline. I didn't realize how nuanced it can be (and the pain of UV mapping objects for pixel art), but I think at the end of this, Ill be able to recreate the process much faster for all my assets (most a lot less detailed/complex than a tank).

my 3D pixel art asset--I probably weather it and give it some character at some point, but boy did I learn a ton about <whatever you wanna call this style> pipeline. The only thing I can't figure out how to do reliably, is make sure all my assets are using roughly* the same scale? I.E. same # of pixels per unit of surface area.
