Speaking of which, anyone who does pixel art here: any advice on producing sprites quickly? As much as I love seeing my ideas come to life I'm not super looking forward to doing full sprite sheets animations.

What kind of game are you making?

A 40K-inspied Unity Doom-clone (Low-poly 3D environment, 2D NPCs). The basic premise is that you are a line officer towards the end of a hundred-year siege and have got to do x/y/z to hold the line.

Here are some shots of the fortress under siege (not pictured: the shield; the tower is a shield generator). The three primary environment are inside the town, the trenchworks surrounding this thing, and underworkings of the fortress.

E: Added some shading to the band's texture to make the mountain normals pop a bit and match the reference more. I think another material for the dark parts of the band may work better though.

I suppose I'll call it done.
