One of my favorite 'indie' bands is performing on halloween in my local area.   YoY

To elaborate, I work 55 hours a week, and my love interest dipped hard into another guy.  I need to secure this.  Drink for the poor souls like I who need this.  I can deal with pretending not to care.  I can deal with with limited free time.  But damnit I demand my drunken revelry.

Drank... kind of a lot last night I guess.
I actually somehow went to sleep with a half-empty beer in my hand, and woke up without spilling it. That's some next-level shit, really.

Been scouting around for forgotten drinks this morning, naturally. ^-^


Edit: currently drinking a pint in a trendy but surprisingly reasonably priced li'l bar in Brunswick. There was also food involved.

I've come to realize people I know tend to conform to a hierarchy of alcohols.
You drink beer if you love other people.
You drink wine if you love yourself.
You drink gin if you hate other people.

Imperial stout for an empirical blackout.

There's also a difference in carbonation types/amounts that can make some things a lot easier to drink, not to mention keeping it down. An optimal pour will actually activate as much of the carbonation as possible without overfilling the glass, rather than aim to activate as little as possible.

But drinking from the can, you don't get that, and the whole thing will attack you with bubbles. And if you're drinking your 30-pack of Schittz Lite, it's gonna take you that 30-pack to get drunk...

But yeah, a lot of craft beers are up around 10%+ ABV, and the difference between that and a 4.5 or 3.7 is massive.
