Turn 79

[Erik: 5, Blackened: 5] Wanderer tried to run away from the undead knight, but Blackened teleported closer to him whenever he got too far away!

[Blackened: 4, Erik: 1] When Erik was too exhausted to run away, the undead knight teleported closer and cursed him with a dark breath!

[1] Oh...oh no. - Ferron yelled taking out a bunch of dried herbs, but they withered away in the aura of torment!

[1] Then the alchemist desperately tried to apply demonic venom on his sword, but a few drops of strong poison dripped down on his open wounds! A horrible burning pain overwhelmed Ferron!

[Torment: 5, Ferron: 1] Demonic lord quickly approached the alchemist still writhing in pain, and with a swift strike of a whip he split his skull in half!

[1] An arcane protective field? That is impossible. Seymour is gone and Lyirah is not here. Who put this spell? - Pguhyuh wondered, Fzbxr trying to help him determine the source of the energy or who is down in the passage. Suddenly a lightning struck out of the fountain straight at the great diplomat!

[4] Once again, the spell wasn't strong enough to deal serious damage, but standing all the time within the area of protective field would surely be lethal!

Serrana, can you heal Erlath's wounds please? He has been badly hurt by the arcane field. - he said to exorcist after recovering from the strike.

[5] What else wasn't impossibly possible now? - Serrana asked, then focused and prayed, forwarding holy energy to Erlath's spirit and healing it completely!

[5] Then she shot a holy bolt at the fountain. The bolt was stopped by the protective field and started changing colours, from blue to blood red and to black, indicating a tainted presence in the passage!

[2] Reynald hastily got back on his feet and attempted siphoning Pestilence, to no avail.

[Pestilence: 3, Reynald: 2 +1] The demon lord charged again and tried to claw inquisitor, but he kept his defensive stance and blocked the attack!

[4] Bentfear moved out to look for books about hard glass-like materials. Getting to Height Keep's library and avoiding all the suspicious corpses on the ground, he found a bookshelf with tomes about different materials. There was a glass making guide on it, which he promptly took.

[3] What a shame. That's a rotten way to die. - Dennis said taking pity on dead Lysander, then taking a few steps to ensure that he won't resurrect to kill everyone in the keep, driving in stake through his heart, chaining his body and putting his stuff into a chest. Then he took it all to catacombs, interred it in a separate chamber and ordered peasants to seal it.

[Aaron: 1 +4, Kupameth: 1 +2] Shadow dragon had no problems defending himself from the dread knight. In fact, he managed to hit him several times when spotting a few openings in his attack pattern!

[1] Elemental maelstrom struck again, but it couldn't hurt the dread knight again!

[6 +4] Aaron attempted to summon Jeremiah Nix, and instantly a blast of holy energy revealed his visage on the sky above them! Crimson and Azure become as the sun! - Jeremiah exclaimed, and corruption was removed from the Blackened Sun, rays of pure sunlight blessing the land, removing corruption and weakening the damned!

I would like to hereby declare Jeremiah Nix new god of the sun, everyone good with that?

Anyway, Fire Dancer plus Dragonruler Greatsword+Daemei Great Hammer attack. Let's finish this.

Good morning, Kupameth.

Rallying under the light of the sun, Reynald would charge Pestilince, attempting to strike the demon with a Skullcrushing strike.

I figure at some point, you're just gonna run outta fucks to give and just off yourself whenever you get hurt at all. It's not like there's any downsides to it. Hangover? Suicide will fix that. Stubbed your toe? Suicide. Headache? Suicide. Papercut? Suicide.

"Serrana, try praying. There is a strong tainted presence in the undergrounds.
I must cleanse this corruption."

Empowered by the blessing (and Serrana's prayer if she prays), use Grand Cleansing on the tainted presence in the passage.
((It's either Thunderlord or Maelstorm. Prepare for a fight.))

Immortality like that would be even more game breaking than four Aaron's in one place.
You're both so obviously scum that this is a surprisingly difficult decision.

NRDL's character. Remember him? Check Cold Storage and the early game. He left soon after we killed the Undead Duke.

He was one of the first 6. He was an exorcist who helped with his prayers and last time we saw him he disappeared in a flash of blue light. Probably became an angel with help of the gods.

An angel wouldn't be powerful enough to lift the Blackened curse on a whim.

Did he ascend like Seymour?

Not exactly like Seymour (due to energy overloading), something more happened in between and forces even greater than gods had their part in it. Add to it prophecy that Lysander was about to discover, and you may find out what happened to Jeremiah.

SM asked me to try to summon Lysander back to the land of the living when combat ends. Is that ok?

He's dead so you can't. Jeremiah wasn't dead. You could try summoning another incarnation of the Daemei King though.

Is this related to:
The Wanderer
The "Eclipse"
The Dark One
The Return of Axeworth
The Hellback Prophecy

Answer yes or no to each one, if possible.
