Earworm Men show up in your fort and replace the calm, sedate background music with upbeat, catchy-yet-annoying bubblegum pop guaranteed to get stuck in your head.  Even if you drive them out, their tunes will soon be the only ones your in-house musicians want to perform.

We should reprogram the game in BASIC so we can change the game to be exclusively on the IBM Personal Computer.

You know, if there was a way to compile/reprogram DF such that it didn't need SSE, it would be theoretically be possible to run it on a 386. We're only 2 processor generations away from the 8088. Just have to figure out how to get even 128MB of RAM into a system that old, that's all.

Now, a 486, we might have a chance. Apparently some chipsets from that era support 256MB of RAM, so that's vaguely feasible.

Also, isn't almost every desktop and laptop sold today technically a descendant of the OG IBM Personal Computer, model 5150? I mean, it's changed so much that an 8088 system has very little in common with a modern-day Intel or Ryzen system, but they both share the x86 instruction set.
