Looking over the relevant article again, it appears that I must have meant to write wheelbarrow instead of minecart.

Anyways, these “jars” are definitely bigger than jugs.  Jugs have a capacity of 1,000, which these “jars” have a capacity of 10,000.

Nah, jugs have 10000 container capacity in the raws. The article on storage capacity has the capacities 10 times smaller than in raws (the article on weight has the same amounts as raws, not sure why the articles have different values).

If you create a dark blue container, it has a capacity far in excess of the actual tile (or other container) that it sits in.

If you have more than 150 dorfs in your fortress the color of things start makeing difference. Red gos fasta!

Most dwarves are content with containers of the color blue, but some prefer red and are willing to face an unsettling truth about container capacities.
