What a wonderfully psychotic expression that guy brain surgeon wears. :D
Also, this happened in fort mode to my singular axedorf.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

At first, the buzzard was above him, so he obviously couldn't attack. It then went down to the ground, where it scored dozens of misses, before it occurred to the dorf that it was actually attacking him, and that he probably should destroy it with a few well-placed hits. If he hadn't been a proficient dodger, that buzzard could probably have killed him before he reacted.

...So you sold either your dead body or the dead body of one of your companions to buy a copper cap?

Well played.

I remember generating a character called Somethingiforgot DeathMetal quite a few versions ago. I can't remember what he did, but I picture it as something like this.

dwarf fortress, the only game in which you can sell your own corpse.
also the only place you can do it. I tried IRL. it involved time machines and a dwarven drawbridge to make me go faster than the speed of light.
Where's the sand tile involved? So you can retrieve yourself?

Ooh, that's clever!

1. START NEW ADVENTURER
2. GET HIM/HER KILLED
3. GRAB CORPSE WITH NEW ADVENTURER
4. REPEAT FOR INFINITE MONEY

Also, this is how my manly furnace operator defeated a fearsome fire imp.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

He knocked the circles out of it.

Yes! Now make one with HADOUKEN! (I don't know how that will work out.)

Oh, and a joke I saw on YouTube the other day - "Hey, Ryu, can I be as cool as you one day?"

"Shor-yu-ken!"

this is the result of a DFusion command that turns all members of your fort into companions and making the entire fort become marksdwarves. I finally step into the Army arc.
Forts are now just recruitment centers adventurers Generals every one in the world will bow down to my feet.

Why stop at 30? Build up a fort to 200 and then take over. 8)

Wait, if you can turn your whole fort into an army, why not just build a superfort and use the army from that?

I know that I would be able to send out no less than 35 legendary axe/spear/sword/hammerdorfs from my best fort. All with full masterwork/artifact quality adamantine armour and weapons. (cept for them hammerdorfs. they have silver)

Christ, are you dwarves or are you elves? If you think Hell has too many demons, then youkill them till the population reaches an acceptable number.
Dwarf Fortress: So horrifying the players would rather talk about nice things, like Warhammer 40k.
