Well. I just found out why Bay12 doesn't allow username changes without Toady's permission.

Yeah, it's the result of an old April Fools prank that got out of hand where nearly everybody changed their usernames to Toady One for a day or something like that.

I just kind of realized something... that never occurred to me.

Terraria, a sandbox game, is actually a really linear game.

but... when I think about it... a lot of sandbox games are outright linear... they pretty much have one real path and all that changes is small details.

My WTF today was the moment I realised that I was walking around the house in a circle (kitchen > lounge > hallway > kitchen) with socks on my hands for absolutely no reason.
