Decided to get a 1k Sons Tzaangor box to try out.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

They're really nice models, decent set of options in the box, sadly limited gear options in the actual game though.  :-\

Will make a nice addition to my HH Abhuman Militia army if nothing else, and they do provide some nice pistols and chainswords for my Grenadier squads.

Probably going to go with a different armour colour though. Maybe mono-gold for it rather than red with gold trim.

Hey, quick lore question. Does the Imperial Cult have a particular creation myth? I realized recently that I had never heard of one in my (admittedly small) collection of 40k stuff.

We have a rich tradition of percussion instruments as well, all of which are based around a musician smacking variously sized hollow rocks.
It was quite brutal actually. Who knew you could suffer major head trauma from undergarments?

lorgar made a book.
emps decided to ignore it.
but given that they said in the HH books that the first saint of IC is some lady who stopped a fireball inside a spaceship in the warp ...

it was a secret cult that had no leader and several cells.  lots of people wanted to worship BigE, probs before lorgar was even a thing

they believe the human form was created by the beginning psychic manifestations of the emperor or something along that line.

I'm not sure who you're talking about, but one of first saints that fit the description somehow is Euphrati Keeler - but she did a bit more than stop a fireball inside a spaceship - she started banishing deamons back on Vengeful Spirit (Horus flagship during HH) by sheer power of faith in the Big E. That's kind of an achievment when you're just a simple Remembrancer.

As far as I'm concerned, Imperial Cult has no solidified creation myth. Some still go by the somewhat scientific idea of humanity evolving and just that Emperor is a God, others say that He created everyone. At least I've never heard about one unified idea of creation myth and if I haven't heard of it it would have to be very fucking obscure.

What's the difference between a murder servitor, a skitarius, a thallax, and a Cybernetica robot?

All fanfics are heresy, each and every one, especially the shipping ones. Those are by far the worst.

Murder servitors are a type of combat servitor that seems specialised for close combat in spaceships. I've never seen them mentioned outside

Skitarii are cybernetic soldiers with independent though used by the Mechanicus. They have a wide variance depending on the tech-priests that use them.

Thallax seem to be more heavily cybernetic than usual Skitarii. Not really seen much about these, but thye seem to be a primarily 30k thing?

Legio Cybernetica robots are, well, robots, with a tiny bit of bioware in the cortex.

Murder servitors are murder servitors. Lobotomized murder cyborgs.
Skitarii are the Mechanicus equivalent of Imperial Guard - soldiers with tons of bionics but still capable of thinking.
Thallax is Mechanicus Space Marines. They are permanently fused into their Power Armour (the Lorica Thallax), but also still capable of thinking. While they do still exist in WH40K, the secreft of their production seems to be lost.
Legio Cybernetica uses robots - however they weren't AIs and they weren't biological, sort of really advanced unmanned vehicles. Those were really heavily restricted and basically useless without a Mechanicus imputing commands. However, even if they weren't actually thinking, they started to show signs of intelligence, like a lot of things (because in WH40K you can make shit happen just by believing hard enough). This wasn't cool, but even then Horus Heresy happened first, and nearly whole Legio Cybernetica fought on the traitors side. After it, they ended up in Eye of Terror (Blight Drones bear striking resemblance to one of the flying robots, just with more Papa Nurgle on it), and whatever remaining cohorts that remained loyal got royally buttfucked by laws and stuff so they aren't really a big deal in WH40K.
Of course, this was just an explanation why they aren't here, while in reality it was because GW was too lazy and too busy making Ultramarine Mary Sues. Now, with the focus back on the cool aspects on Wh40k, Legio Cybernetica is again a thing both in WH30K and WH40K. They're fucking cool, basically everything from fully robotic Guardsmen through Space Marines and Dreadnoughts to Imperial Knights and (supposedly) Titans.

So, TL;DR - respectively horror murder machines, cyborg Guardsmen, cyborg Space Marines and army of remotely controlled death drones.

We need a Santa for every WH40K faction and then make them battle for the right of giving presents to everyone.

Me tons would have a Monoloth rebuilt into a snowglobe. Or maybe a monolith-tree with a C'tan as the star.

For Chaos, we gotta have Santa Magnus. Or Nurgle. Hmmmm..... Papa Nurgz or the Magnigician?

Why not both? It's not like Chaos is unified faction.
