Occasionally, the following should appear at a players fort:

Elves with fake beards claiming to be dwarves.

Clean-shaven dwarves with rubber ears claiming to be elves.

Goblins on stilts claiming to be humans.

All creatures get anuses, but they don't poop.

Instead, all the forgotten beasts and titans in the world made of filth grow or shrink in size with the population of the world depending on how much filth the mortal creatures would leave behind. It just disappears from their bowels and gets incorporated into the beasts. Larger worlds produce larger and more numerous horrors.

Food poisoning should be introduced, and if a pandemic is not contained properly, it will spawn a Forgotten Beast made of vomit.

Any time a dwarf sees vomit it has a 50% to vomit, there is no limit to how many times the dwarf can vomit, and the 50% chance to vomit happens every time a dwarf see any vomit this includes their own vomit and vomit they saw earlier.

Whenever you finally get your clothing industry established, and the very first clean, new pig tail sock is finally available to the dwarves, they should fight over it. Because fist fights in DF are always just in good fun, even if they do sometimes get a bit too rambunctious.

Pardon if this has already been suggested, but: If jails are too fancy, dwarves will commit petty crimes specifically in order to get arrested.

Ears of corn should require processing at a farmer’s workshop to remove the husks and silk surrounding them.  Once removed, these should act the same as any other husk or silk in the game.

As your adventurer/adventuring party becomes more famous in a particular entity, it should become a gradually more likely possibility that you'll acquire an obsessive stalker from that entity who may eventually attempt to kidnap or otherwise claim ownership of you (or just do creepy shit like track you from a distance while collecting your fallen skin and hair samples).

Coral has a chance of memorizing what it hears, and will sometimes try talking to children or really any animal or sentient that is close enough to hear it. ((Fun fact, coral is a colony of creatures closely related to jellyfish, who knows, maybe DF coral have ganglia or brains somewhere

Brain coral can be animated by a necromancer, resulting in an undead brain. Other zombies get distracted and try to eat it.
