Parroting will not work. However, making the AI malfuction might. Right now, it is pretending to be automated and not self-thinking. As a result, we should stay quiet for this question to annoy it, the hope being that it will address us more directly. Perhaps if we try to take a floating nap it will mention our nap-taking while telling us to answer the question? After that we might want to ask it if AIs take naps. Hopefully it will not take that as an answer. If we can establish a more personal interaction, we might be able to request that we start again with question one. At which point, we can interrupt the AI's question-asking with its own questions, and then when it tries to say something we can accept that as the answer and ask the next question. Eventually, we may need to make up increasingly ridiculous questions. Of course, this plan won't work because of the first law of Gabronian thermodynamics: Sectoids can never win. Optimism!

If I might make a request about that: even if there's a long delay in the overall animation, it could be useful if you kept the "weird" frame of such animations close to the start.  Then the devoted among us can restart the animation over and over again, get screenshots, and do unspeakable things without having to wait the full delay each time.  Meanwhile, everyone else will be creeped out.  It's win-win.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

I got the first one using timed screen capture after a few attempts. The second one I got using CamStudio (the world's worst screen recording software!) and locating the recorded frame. Notice how the first one is much better quality. I hope you don't mind me putting up these pictures, Robocorn. Also, am I the only one who noticed the "Where's Waldo" one?

Dude, download GIMP. save the images. open them with GIMP, and you can isolate individual frames. much less complicated.
