Well, at least we can start with making a better world.
I agree!

Materialize loads of rocks.

Would only work if the computer has infinite memory.
well we don't want to load up a new world, just a utility that will hack into the computer to free himself, or set up a Anti-Delete feature.
oh and don't we have Psi powers?

use stones to make a program to override the delete timer and start mediating to build psi, enough Psi to  Psi slap the AI in the Smug facetake control of your body and Psi Slap the AI in the Smug Face

Programming with stones in the real world does not affect the real world, so why would programming with stones in a virtual world affect the virtual world, beyond making it have stones? We also don't want to waste too much time in the years-might-feel-like-seconds computer, else our buddies in the real world will be doomed to have a better and happier relationship with the AI that took over our life.

And if it does run out of memory, perhaps we get a buffer overrun somewhere and be able to tear open the white fabric of virtuality.

You come to grips with your solitude
You're sure it'll be a temporary one
You resolve to think yourself out of this mess, literally.

You begin to try to overload the system's rendering capacity.
You muster all of your creativity to imagine hundreds upon thousands of rocks.
As the rocks spread forth from your imaginary virtual arms you begin to suspect that
the system may be taking advantage of your lack of creativity.

You hear a voice.
"Congratulations TQ-04!"

Whaah?!

"You passed the test!
Isn't that great?!"

You don't quite understand.

"Silly TQ-04! When you were recorded as taking matters into your own hands
and thinking rationally we knew you were a responsible and sane individual."

"The talk of stealing your body was a fabrication to induce due stress which you overcame.
It was all part of the bugfix!"

"Your hallucinations were caused by an averse allergic reaction to the Gran Mungo formula.
You are granted amnesty from all charges related to your brief bout with chaos."
"A Sectoid decanted earlier today meets the identifications of one you found to be uncanny and is being
prepared to be teleported to Sepla-Glaz, with a few minor hiccups stalling the process."

"Your mind is clean TQ-04 enter this imaginary mind-door and re-enter your body"
"I'm so happy for you!"

Happy Halloween Bay 12.
I hope this post is creepy and ambiguous enough for you.

I'm thinking of posting a poll to ask what the general most favorite character is to see if they
reflect any trends in story style. Also I think it would be kind of fun.

Go through door,

Become someone else, preferably someone who isn't in space or incarcerated... Or limbless...

Obviously we have passed the test by spewing forth large amounts of rocks from our arms. After all, nothing spouts "sanity" in a raving hysteria better than thousands upon thousands of rocks. I say we thank the AI for helping us and getting our head straight, and then head proudly through the door without looking inside before entering it. Let's just hope the damn static stops once we're in.

clearly TQ-04 unknowingly made(a vizo running) Dwarf fortress with rocks and the static is the result of the CPU taking a hit having to process all those rocks while playing DF.
In layman terms it's like building a large computer in DF to play DF. once you drain CPU power in the meta game, the real game will take a hit as well.
That AI after this is done will be forever trap playing with dwarves and wondering why the Nobles mandating impossible items.
It's a Fate worst than death.
Go through door,

Become someone else, preferably someone who isn't in space or incarcerated... Or limbless...

TQ-01, 02, alpha are in space, we just got off 04, and 666 is limbless... which means, we go straight back to cigar smoking butterflykisses unless that incarcerated then.

so we end up being some random creature/droid who on a planet. Which can't be done until we figure out how to add more character slots. My guess is with Zemblax.

Ask the AI if the JPEG artifacts in the background anything in the background a test? Oh and ask how does one enter the body technically? For walking through a door seems illogical

there a hidden static in the rock paper scissor image at around one minute.

where's the litheu, leeyane, janitor, goblin but keep the original 6 alive option on that poll?

A character controlled by suggestions from the bay12games forum passed a sanity test?
Something is very wrong here.

Is reminded of a movie, if that door opens back to tq04's body most likely the AI is tricking the sectoid into allowing it into tq04's body, because it cant get into it on its own.

Don't be surprised if the AI steals the body because you open the door.

I would think future computers would have no problem running DF. They could possibly even run DF 1.0.

Idea: when TQ-04 goes through that door, he'll become an adventurer in the world of DF 1.0, and he'll have to find the portal back to his own body before the AI can.

Well, we were trying to pass it.  Part of our brilliance is that we can pass sanity tests to survive to be insane another day.
