What have I done. When I made that pun, I didn't mean for everyone to follow my lead.

Not sure if that was intentional, but I don't tin-k I can take much more of this.

It's what they get for trying to outwit a machinist with metal-related puns. What do you think we do when the CNC machines are operating? Pun-offs are a serious % traditional thing around here, along with a bunch of other time killers.

-interrupting your previously scheduled pun train for a question-

I don't know if such a thing exists, but is it possible to get a drawing tablet that displays a copy of your monitor on itself as you draw?

Failing that, what would everyone recommend for tablets under ~200$ as a good starter tablet, preferably with a page-sized drawing space if preferable?  Local electronics stores only stock Intuos (I think that's what they are called) tablets.

Basically I want to make the transition from physical art to digital but I don't know if I can get the hang of drawing on something that I can't see the image on.  I know I'd use one that displays what it draws, and if I can't afford that then I don't want to spend a lot on something that might end up a paper weight....

ALSO can anyone recommend a 50-200$ scanner that performs well when scanning charcoals/pencil/colored pencil and pastels?
