There's always ways to shock Yaos. Give Al five minutes and a goal to shock him, he'll be shocked in no time. Hopefully in a Soul-Charge-giving way.

But we're not Al- if we were, our outrageous flirting would be much more successful! Though now I wonder if successful Shipping Grid calibration is enough to provide some measure of Soul Charge...

I really hope I'm not right, too, because that would be a very difficult situation to deal with.

But, if I am, this is relevant:

I will note that I will oppose attempts to increase Yaos's Soul Charge bar with kisses or embraces until we have no other options left. Say, if Yaos is dying. Then go ahead; it's dramatic, SCIENCE!, and just might save Yaos's life.

Alternatively, ask her/him about his/her past. That always seems to unlock sads.

Crazy enough that this just might work.

This is now my preferred method of Soul CPR, assuming we can't solve Yaos's problem before shit gets real.

We're likely going to be blood shaping a bit with our new HP. So, while we're at it I vote we absorb the shotgun and make this beauty:

Also, I vote against trying to mess with the stranger's soul right now, we need to mess around with our new points!

((FFS: I believe it was mentioned somewhere that we failed a blood shape because we couldn't focus. Does that mean we'd get a bonus if we were to attempt in a situation where we could focus more easily?))

Agreed, but for different reasons. We don't want to risk agitating it if we have other options.

Flavor. Position bonus represents a distinct advantage rather than a neutral state. So no. Look for those stat slots.

...But how do we give someone charge? Does Ciro even know what that is? Yaos would either have to kill someone with charge, or go through something very, very emotional. But Yaos seems to really play up the "calm and collected" thing.

Any ideas?

I don't mean to draw attention from the horrible things that are happening to what's-his-face, but I think I found something that warrents some attention.

This is when Al first entered the Outer Warrens.

Not sure what I'm suppose to look at. Al kicks Cherish away, yeah, he's done that before and it didn't look weird first time I saw it. Am I missing something?

Not unless you mean how Spira is there is some reason, holding Cherish above his head?
It's in the second picture.
