Went out last night, ended up being a lot of good nerdy fun. Drank too much, also kinda fun in its own way.

Woke up today, less fun. Stomach took issue with the amount of water I tried to push down on the alcohol. Penance was issued, six Hork Marys. The necessary liquid exultations were recited, and now I am very carefully eating tortilla chips for breakfast.

Hail Hydrate.

ø = ö ?
Effectively, yeah. Same sound. The difference is that one looks like a sword and shield, while the other looks like the eternally screaming visage of one who has gazed too long into the abyss.

Me and my dad's S.O. drink Franzia basically primarily.  She (and him) white, me red, but same type of box.
I used to open do it with my fingers but at some point I started bashing it open with a tool first, like the blunt end of... let's say, a vegetable cutting knife.

When we were preparing dinner for dad yesterday, and she asked me to open the box as I was cutting vegetables, she found my casual impulse slightly alarming heheh

So many sulfides, but I kinda like the gross burn.  It lets me know I'm drinking.  Fear the smooth ones.

I did a few Irish Carbombs with my friend and his awkwardly hot girlfriend. Then we played Mario Cart.

Mario Kart is excellent.
Coffee, 100 proof pinapple snapps, and heavy cream is pretty good.

Edit: peppermint. And chocolate syrup made it better

Now I'm chugging Killians Irish Red and doing shots of vodkall which is an invention of mine. You put a smidge of adderall in the shot after you pour it.

Just watched Tim Allen pounding down JD straight from the bottle in a movie and I have never felt so jealous.
The bottle shop down the street was apparently closed today. In this hick-ass little town I wouldn't be surprised if that's due to some kinda religious nonsense, considering it's Sunday. How sad. I just got paid, too.

We pride ourselves on our well-stocked shelves
Wine from Deneb and whiskey from Carr
Any world you can think of, we carry the drink of
We serve the universe at Hanrahan's Bar!

I know I spam Leslie Fish, but, well... yeah.
I am so gladdened at the people who picked it up already, and maybe nobody else will pick it up.
This is just a happy drunk celebration.  Of "filk", heh, that term is still so weird.

Don't stop Rolan, you're making an old man nostalgic in the best way. I'll hoist a glass of red in your honor.

I've been reading Two Worlds recently, so a bit of Leslie Fish is just what the doctor ordered. Guardians from Carmen Miranda's Ghost still gives me chills.

I'm not super drunk or anything, but I'm still playing X-Piratez XCOM mod (OldCOM).  And there's another Leslie Fish song which, at least superficially, summarizes the first... IDK, real-life week of this freakin huge mod.  Been holding onto it till now.

Black Powder & Alcohol

...Except I switched to sips of gin, tiny sips, and they're so stealthy.  So.
Have something "gay": Pump It Up Prime: Venus
And something Gaelic: Rockhill: Beltaine
Oddly hard to find (I kept searching "river" and "creek", and apparently never put it in my music playlist...)

Anyway, hope you're all doing fine.
