I think I have obtained food poisoning by eating food from the place I work at.
At least it means that's one less customer who'll get sick.

I'm currently beating myself up over a minor traffic mistake. Just forgetting to look both ways at an intersection. There was no near-collision, I just went through it and realized my mistake, and promptly realized that an 'alternate reality me' is now dead.

I was just so focused on the rising morning sun, I was doing everything in my power to overcome its blinding glare so I could look and make sure that nothing was coming from my left, so focused on it that I completely forgot to check my right which had nothing obstructing it. Just makes me feel profoundly stupid and foolish.

Don't feel too bad, I drove right past a traffic cop in a construction area near my work as he was trying to stop traffic to help someone back out because they drove the wrong way. I was so blinded by the sun and trying to figure out which way to go, that I didn't even see him until I was driving by... also, if you're thinking that way, no matter what you do an alternate reality you did something to die, this one was just realtivly close to your own reality. Right now, an alternate reality me is probably fighting in World War VI against the Hitler clone army and their bunny overlords.
I got run over by a car that couldn't see due to slush and sunlight...
Don't feel too bad.
I shattered his windshield with my head, and knocked off his rear view mirror with my elbow, then flew three car lengths down the street. Then got up and tried to walk away, but decided that might not be the best idea...

Sorry, should have said it was a while ago. I didn't even get a bruise though...
Scraped a hand and got a bump on my head. Then I got paid by the insurance company, so not too bad.

Well, it's looking likely that I'll be unable to meet my friends for another four months since the universe hates us meeting up and the only other opportunity is hedging on a fair few 'ifs' which are unlikely at best.

Hiho, hiho, to loneliness I go...

Make new ones?

Then you get cities like Paris where you should basically just kill yourself already.

You won’t have to think anymore: it’ll be just like having fun!

1. Get a vicious looking dog
2. Promise to set dog on people who refuse to be your friend

Internet socialisation doesn't make up for RL socialisation for me.

And making new friends isn't easy when you're bad around new people. Generally it takes one or two friends with me to do that otherwise by brain starts going 'NOPE NOPE YOU'LL FUCK UP ABORT ABORT ABORT!'
* Tiruin nudges your safety protocol towards another path other than 'push the red button' when meeting other people ._.
That's a cause there, or probably the reason behind why there's a red button in the first place.

I don't even know what I am in regards to introvert/extrovert. I can and do talk to others all the time. I can make jokes, etc. I like the company of others, but I can be just as happy without it, given some other form of amusement. I suppose I do prefer quiet time every now and then, but who doesn't?

Ugh, my Wife and kids and this nasty cold the past few weeks. I was sure I had doged the bullet, then today comes along and my entire body feels like a cement truck has decided to park on it. No congestion yet, but it took a few days to set in on my wife, and it lingered in her chest. I have asthma, so I'm predicting worse things to come.

The quest to find out whether I have actually in some way wronged perceived shunner continues.
I am now reasonably sure I'm being avoided but cannot ascertain why since any attempt at conversation is pretty much ignored.

I guess it's time to start the mutual friend interrogation stage.

College work is building up and I have a pre-cal test in two days to study for and a british literature test next week with an essay and I need to study for that and I'm behind on a bunch of reading and I'm behind on pre-cal homework and I've been tired all day and I haven't had the time or motivation to play guitar in five or six days now and there's a bunch of modding in DF I need to do before I will let myself play it and I want to play it but there's all this other stuff and the application for my major's department is due at the latest by Oct 1 and I haven't done anything for that and uuuuuuuuuugh.

The shitload workload never ends.
