To be fair, the dead baby jokes were getting pretty old.

The first couple were funny. Then it kept going. And going. Then it died of old age, reanimated, and kept going. Then it started kicking a dead baby horse for good measure.

Some overstressed lunatic is staring back at me in the mirror, complete with frazzled hair, dark bags under his glassy eyes, and a joyless smile. I have a feeling I'm going to burn out soon.

Got my Wisdom Teeth out on Saturday. Not only do I miss out on all the Halloween party food, but it hurts like hell. Also, many super gross things.

After a brief-yet-intensive bit of Googling, it seems there aren't any websites that offer custom-made flannel pyjamas for less than $124.99. I would be perfectly happy with shitty, itchy ones like one might find at a cheap department store just so long as I could chuck a basic image on them, but no.

I'm going to go sleep instead. :(

Print your image to this, apply it to your pajamas with an iron.

Got slammed with a $240 speeding ticket on my way home from work today.
I acted cheery and made jokes to the officer, but declined to mention to him that all of the money I'd just earned from that graveyard shift was meant to be my next fortnight's food, and now I'm in debt and starving.

Thought about not paying it, but that just accrues a larger debt, and as the government is half my paycheck, they can take it straight out of my earnings anyway.

It's gonna be a hungry couple of weeks.
Heh. Not with a bang but with a whimper. Great knowing you all.

Edit: Made post sound less bleak.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

I'll almost certainly post here many times over, if my survival course has informed me right, the next three to five days. How depressing will that be?
Darkly amusing that the sad thread has had many a person attempt to go out with a bang, and here I am ending with a whimper.
D:

You got any friends or family you could mooch off of until your next paycheck? If not, got any soup kitchens or anything in your area? Surely there's some thing in first world countries that's made to help stop people from starving to death. Surely we have the technology for that.

I want to think that if you had explained that to the officer instead of acting lightly maybe he would've let you go with a warning instead of a ticket or something.
