So, I found 2 crimson molds. Are the droprates for these things increased?

Back then, I would have incredible difficulty finding one key (and found only one key I did), but now, they seem to be dropping like candy.
1 in 4000 chance. I've only found one crimson key mold.

I've found 2 jungle keys (lihzahrd) and 2 frost molds from invasions. I'm actually convinced chian-summoning invasions is a pretty decent way of farming keys as long as you build an AFK kill-shrine to let everything be vaporized for you.

Could someone link me to a Bay12 server? The hardmode bosses (besides The Destroyer) really kick my ass, plus it's just more fun to play with other people.
I dropped the servers I was running because people kept coming on for 3-4 minutes and logging off, and for long periods no-one logged in at all. If there is sufficient interest I'll start a new one up.

Alright. A new server is up. Bring whatever you like, that is up to you guys. I can make the IP info public or keep it private but if its going to be private I need a volunteer to distribute the password and such as I'll be going to class soon.

Some games you can never lose, but we all stop eventually, causing a 'death' to those game's 'worlds'. Dwarf Fortress gives us a definite end, knowing that we will leave that world eventually, and move on to more.

Again, if you're going for thrown explosives, the most cost-effective solution is the basic bomb.  Otherwise, grab a grenade/rocket launcher and stock up on Rocket IVs.


But yeah, the true final boss of Terraria is the dreaded biome spread, consuming it piece by piece until none of the pristine original exists.  So you can either build a fully detached floating station with as many biome samples as you can get and contain (Norn ship, anyone?), or try and save chunks of the world in their natural formation by isolating and decontaminating them.

Also, you can take on the bosses multiple times so as to actually get all their proper loot... And then after that, there's the pumpkin moon.

Pumpkin moon is a bitch. Even with lava traps I still get killed by Pumpking, and at that point, it's all over for me.

Good thing Flame Trap life-steal seems to be working again.

Th'obvious answer is full out multikill. All the bosses. As many invasions as you can trigger at once. At the same time.

Secondary condition: You must fight at least 50% of the battle on top of lava, as spike balls rain from the sky.
