Ever just randomly feel happy?

Occasionally I guess.

A long time ago some forumites wondered if I had depression. The things that prompted their comments have long since dissipated, but I wonder if I should talk to a therapist or something about the past. Never talked to a therapist, and rarely ever talked to anyone about anything closer than moderately personal. Including during the aforementioned time period. Maybe that's bad.

This post doesn't really fit the thread, but you got me on this train of thought MaxTheFox

Make a audio/video/written log about your day, every day for a week.

Make an honest effort to write about how you felt during significant interactions, and what you think people are doing.  Let your mind wander.

Comes back to it in a month after writing it.  And astonish at the alien you used to be.

Got my first jab of vaccine today. So far no real side effects aside from some arm soreness, so that's nice. I'd heard that some folks can feel quite ill the day or so afterwards.

So the creators of Audacity are aware of databending. It's nice to know that people outside of a small niche know what databending is.

I know this is incredibly self-aggrandizing, but I often feel like I'm the Last Databender; the last person trying to advance the field, doing things that no-one else has done. Maybe I should try pinging whoever maintains those giant databending link archives. Maybe they'll find my stuff interesting, even if my point of view is decidedly more concerned with procedure and repeatability and "science" rather than art.

Few happys:
-I quit the grocery store so I could spend more time with my sons.
-I also quit the custard stand because see above.
-I am now once again a line cook at the restaurant I worked at all those years ago and I fucking love it
-I get 4 days off a week and Memorial/Labor day weekends.
-I have some very fun firearms.
-I have a real career path lined up here in the next few months.
-I am getting the Fauci Ouchie in a few days.
-Somehow none of my family have gotten Covid, although my wife's GMA died of complications from her second FO shot and being 93 with 4th stage kidney failure, severely obstructed arteries, and as of yet undiagnosed lung disorder. Sad she's gone but happy her death might help improve the vaccine and give insight into medical science.
-I have real friends. Five of them.
