So I'm watching the opening ceremony for the Olympics right now and I find it funny how poor African countries like Madagascar even have winter athletes. Fake ice, I know, but I still find it kinda funny.

Like that movie of the Jamaican sledge team?

I'll never forget when my cousins asked me what all the stuff on the lamposts, roofs and railings were. I was so confused until I realised they meant the snow. They asked me why people put it everywhere, since in Christmas they only put the fake snow around a tree, but we seemed to put it everywhere. I told them when it gets cold, or if you ever visit a big mountain, you will see lots of snow fall from the sky. They were even more confused by this, because they thought I was tricking them, since everyone knows frozen water makes ice. I didn't know how to explain why it formed snow, because even I did not know why snow formed instead of ice :X

Joke was on past you, snow is ice, just bunches of tiny ice instead of solid blocks. They're basically when the sky decides today is a shaved ice day instead of a pelt-you-with-ice-rocks day. Sometimes winter gives you icees instead of a concussion!

Though it does turn out when you bury your neighborhood in icees it actually kinda' sucks, so. Y'know. Snow!

I haven't seen snow in person in over twenty years :-\

New research forces us to review the grandeur of medieval knights.
While we picture them as riding large horses, towering above the battlefield powerfully, new research by historians and archeaologists, published in the International Journal of Osteoarcheology show that the war horses they rode on were in fact ponies, with shoulder heights around 1.40m.
So, medieval knight were more like hobbits.

Bumber’s little umbrella guy avatar (which I swear he has when it isn’t that cat) showed up on a tumblr blog I follow reviewing kirby enemies. I had never imagined the little guy’s name was also ”Bumber”!

I was daydreaming again today and thought up a funny dialogue between two fantasy characters. It's a magical fantasy setting, and the conversation is between a mage and a regular ass guy:

"Hey you want to borrow some of my books?"
"No, I do not."
"Come'on man, you always have your head buried in those thick tomes."
"And I suppose you have anything better?"
"Yeah man, I got this one I just finished reading, about, like, this guy, and this girl, and there's a war, and it's kinda tragicomical. You'd like it."
"Look, I read books about magic and magical creatures. I don't indulge in FICTION!"

and that's it, my own stupid joke just made me crack up laughing.
